NOTES
Grass and Stone is worked from end to end, starting and finishing with bands of faux intarsia, or ‘fauxtarsia’, in which you work in both yarns to a marker, then drop one yarn and continue in the other yarn on its own. On return rows, you work in the single yarn to the marker, then pick up the second yarn and continue to the end in both yarns held together. The bias shaping happens at the beginning of each row, inside the I-cord edging. Re + Pe indicates knitting with 1 strand of Reed held together with 1 strand of Pebble; Pe on its own indicates working with 1 strand of Pebble only. You might also like
