Pullover is worked with one strand of Yarn A and one strand of Yarn B held together throughout.

Pullover is worked flat in pieces from the bottom up and sewn together, using a circular needle to accommodate the large number of stitches. Neckband is picked up from bound-off neckline stitches and worked circularly.

A 1-stitch garter stitch selvedge is worked at each edge, as instructed within {brackets}.

Shaping occurs on WS rows below the armholes. To maintain stitch pattern, follow decrease rows by working the same RS row that you worked just before the decrease, then continue working the 4-row pattern as established until the next decrease.

Shaping occurs on RS rows above the armholes. Read your knitting to maintain the stitch pattern, rather than strictly following the pattern rows. When combining Knotted Stitch with shaping, if you do not have enough stitches to work a pair of stitches together, work the extra stitch in stockinette stitch.

For best results, use the Sloped Bind Off Method (see Special Techniques) for neckline and sleeve top shaping.
