Notes

The poncho is worked flat in pieces from the bottom up starting with the German Twisted Cast On Method, followed by reverse stockinette stitch , and a 1 x 1 Rib Stitch Center Panel. The necklines are shaped by binding off stitches, and the shoulders are shaped using wrap and turn short rows. The sweater pieces are blocked and seamed together using the 3-Needle Bind Off Method. To finish, the ribbed turtleneck is worked in the round from picked up stitches around the neckline.
Maintain selvedge stitches at edges of flat pieces throughout, as instructed within {brackets}. Garment is assembled with reverse stockinette side facing out. After shaping the shoulders, please see the "Special Techniques/Wrap & Turn Short Row" section for details on how to pick up the wraps to hide them so that they will be the least visible on the purl side.
