Note: Measure shoulder girth as the horizontal circumference around the shoulders at the front breakpoint level with arms down.
Notes
Popover is worked flat in pieces from the bottom up, using a circular needle to accommodate the large number of stitches. Pieces are sewn together along shoulders, leaving sides open. Collar is worked circularly from live stitches after seaming.
A 7-stitch selvedge is worked at each side edge from hem to beginning of shaping, then a 5-stitch selvedge is worked for remainder of piece as shown in {brackets}.
